Session Fees

River & Rebirth Counseling is in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan. We also offer support in utilizing out-of-network benefits or a self-pay service option. Below you'll find transparent rates so you can make informed decisions about your care. The rates listed below are self-pay. Co-pay rates will depend on your specific plan's benefits.

Sliding Scale

I reserve a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients who demonstrate financial need. If the full fee would be a barrier to care, please mention this during our consultation and I will do my best to find a path forward.

The Motherhood Mosaic Package

10 session bundle — $1000 (self pay only)
10 individual sessions (intake included). Suggested schedule: 4 prenatal sessions for processing perinatal mood changes, discussing boundaries, and preparing for postpartum support, plus 6 postpartum sessions to process birth and the parenthood transition, screen for and treat PMAD symptoms, and gain support through the unique challenges you are facing.

Insurance

River & Rebirth Counseling is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan. For all other insurance providers, we will be considered out-of-network. We are happy to assist you in utilizing any out-of-network benefits you may have, but these benefits vary greatly depending on your specific provider and plan. You are also welcome to self-select self pay for our services, which has a number of benefits listed below. River & Rebirth Counseling reserves a select number sliding scale openings for those clients who would not be able to afford services otherwise. Sliding scale clients must be self-pay.

Benefits of self-selecting self pay:

• No required formal diagnosis on your health record
• Insurance doesn't have access to therapy notes
• Care is on your timeline, not the timeline an insurance company would prefer
• Reasons for seeking care don't need to be justified for coverage

Clients have the option to move from insurance billing to a self pay structure at any point.

Cancellation Policy

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations will be charged 50% of the applicable session fee, and no-shows will be charged the full session fee. I understand that illnesses and emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible and we will work together to find a solution.
